GWT/GXT Developer, Partner

Medici Group is a small development project which grew from a Senior-year group-research project. The project aims to develop a point-of-sale and inventory-control system for retailers using web-based technologies, allowing the application to be distributed and deployed in a platform-independent way. The group is currently seeking a Federal grant for further development, and is considering releasing it into the Open Source community once the project becomes viable.

Wavelink Corporation is the leading provider of terminal emulators, mobile device and wireless infrastructure management and mobile application development software solutions, solving deployment and management challenges.

  • Worked on the team for our flagship product, Avalanche Mobility Center
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the product’s administration-console, a Java Swing application
  • Internationalized our product for worldwide distribution
  • Developed several major features — the last feature I developed involved migrating our licensing-system from a locally stored flat-file solution to a centralized-database solution where licenses were imported (and validated against our internet license-activation server) through the console application and stored in the centralized-database on the server
